fairly easy, innit?

it is fairly easy to be discouraged in an unfavorable situation.
to be in tatters and bruised by the invisible rocks thrown at you.
to be on the look out every now and then, thinking the world is out to get you.
to be enraged when you are unfairly accused.
to be filled with toxicity and flung them each time you meet someone new.
to be blinded by your own shortcomings because you think you are older, and supposedly, wiser.
to be pointing fingers here and there without ever realizing that maybe the issue is you.
therefore, it is fairly hard to be breaking out of a stigmatization labelled by others.
to be kind in unkind situations.
to be tough in tougher environment.
to be calm when there are invisible daggers thrown around.
to be accepting your fallacies and understanding that older does not mean wiser.
to be fully aware that you have your shortcomings and it is alright to admit it.
to be taking responsibilities in situations when you know you have to be the bigger person.
in the realm of "fairly easy" and "fairly hard", both are life's paradox, for how can things can be fairly easy and fairly hard at the same time.
now, i'll ask for the last time, has life, if anything, been fair to you?
regretfully,
