when inspiration has turned blurry
to get inspired and to stay inspired is a no mean feat.
too many times those inspirations slipped away from us and often times indeed we let it go just as easily.
have you ever seen someone stayed true to their dreams no matter how far-off they seem? they didn't let the question of age or anything become an absolute obstacle in their path. despite the haranguing insults and countless blocked routes, they keep on going, in fact, more aggressively than before.
inspiring, isn't it?
in return, we asked ourselves these questions;
how do they manage that?
where do they get that courage from?
how any of what they are doing is possible still?
why are they still at it?
simple answer to the complexities of human acts: they believe.
the power of believing something far greater than the obstacles or themselves.
in fact, the word "believe" is a pure understatement to the conviction that these people have.
if you communicate this answer to those who don't believe, they'd either laugh, shrug or ignore.
because for the common folks, they prefer life to be as they see it, and nothing has ever change for them for as long as they had lived and that is why they stay where they are.
they cannot conceive beyond what they see with the naked eye. therefore, they are pessimist when it comes to things intangible.
take napoleon hill's words for instance;
"what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
who is napoleon hill, you'd might ask? dunno, but his words speaks to me far deeper than I'd known about him.
but, i digress.
inspiration, is an intangible force, something only you can feel. you felt it through the palpitations of your heart, through cold, clammy sensations of your palms and your feet, through the blood shot to your brain that left you dizzying for more adrenaline.
inspiration isn't something that the brain can explain with words. that's why it is hard to believe in something that cannot take a concrete form.
the next step in retaining the inspiration, is to believe in it.
many people get inspired, but they stop believing in it the minute the seed of doubt sprouts ever so slightly.
so, believe in that inspiration. believe that this is not just another fleeting moment.
even if nobody believes you, even your loved ones and those who loves you, it is you who must keep on believing.
if it has gone blurry, retrace the steps to what lead the inspiration to transpire in you.
believe, believe, believe.
and to stay inspired is to take that inspiration and understand it is yours to protect and guard.
imagine it like a small flame that even a wisp of air can blow it out.
guard it like a lion defending its pride, be fearsome and ruthless.
see the inspiration as an extension of yourself. like an invisible pair of wings. it can take you high, but only if you protect it at its infancy.
guard it because your whole life depends on it.
especially if you wish to see the future you envisioned to take form.
fight for as long as you breathe.
tatakae
for who will protect it if its not you?
of course, this goes without saying that inspiration alone won't feed you, but who's saying anything to believe without structure?
